Game 1 - Super Series
And thats it. Vettori slides one to Ponting and its all over.
And look at those Aussies, shit they’re happy. Huggin’ an a kissin’. This match won’t silence the critics but they played well and deserved to win comfortably.
I might try and read through all this tomorrow and try and put something sensible together. then again I might not.

Which brings Akhtar to the crease. He looks miserable behind that helmet. Harry Potter looks like he’s taking over Freddie’s role and starts to open his shoulders. Only Sanga and Freddie in double figures in the top 9. Piss poor really.

5 days to go and blow me I’m excited
In spite of myself I can’t wait for the first Super Series ODI.
Whether out of frustration that the recent headlines have been stolen for largely ancilliary matters or whether post Ashes withdrawal is finally starting to kick in I don’t know.

Supers get tech upgrade
Umpires will be allowed to consult the third umpire for all decisions in next months Super Series.
I spotted this the other night and then noticed that Mike mentioned he was surprised nobody was discussing it. I’m surprised too. Unless the story’s misleading isn’t this rather significant?
