The greatest ever run chase
New Zealand hunted down a mammoth 332 runs to clinch the remaining one day game of the Chappell Hadlee series in Christchurch tonight.

It was a thrilling finish to today’s second ODI at the ‘Cake Tin’ in Wellington between Australia and a resurgent Black Caps.

Ponting’s literary confession
Ricky Ponting’s new Ashes book was launched today and in it he apparantly makes the assertion that losing the Ashes was ‘not a bad thing’ for Australian cricket. Whilst I can relate to what I assume he means by this sweeping statement, this is dangerous ground for an Aussie captain to tread upon.
