Glenn McGrath, true to his Ashes warm up form, is letting his loose lips fly to the media  as he ponders the responsibilities of the modern day cricketer.

Speaking about the possible mental frailties affecting Tresco he commented;

“If there are any areas of weakness in the mind of an opposition player then it is part of your job as a professional to try to exploit it.”

This is going to be harder for McGrath than he probably imagines, as the specifics of the England openers problems are so scarce.

Unless he knows something we don’t (unlikely, he’s not the brightest) then his sledging might have to resort to something like;

“Hey Marcus. Only girls have stress. You must be a girl then.”

Which in turn will receive a perfectly executed cover drive in retort.
