Jonesy back in the swing of things
Simon Jones is bowling again. This is very good news for England ahead of the India tour for which they must be desperately hoping he will be fit.
Jones was part of the awesome foursome who combined so beautifully in last summers Ashes.
Reverse swing is an essential part of touring the subcontinent and Jones is arguably one of England’s if not the world’s best exponents.
England missed him in Pakistan and it would be a great legacy for the departing bowling coach Troy Cooley to hand a fit, swinging Jones over to the England camp when they arrive in India in 2 weeks time.

yup- a raring to go Jones and Flintoff could really end up being a handful in India…thus making blackwell/udal/panesar relatively irrelevant, though I would not mind seeing some of the full monty
