Muralitharan spanked Brad Hogg for successive sixes in one over of the 2nd VB final, both of them reasonable cricket shots, albeit straight down Daisy’s arse at Cow Corner.

The funniest thing to happen in the game was the way the mighty five foot nothing Hogg then strode down the wicket to mutter something or other at the equally minuscule Murali. I have no idea what Hogg said, but the umpire told him to pull his head in and stop bowling crap balls, but I really wanted to see Hogg and Murali trade a few blows.

Hogg was out of line, poor old Murali went for 99 in his ten wicketless overs then gets verbally abused for slogging a couple of shots out to the barnyard.

Wasn’t his night.
