The flat track bully
Graeme Hick is getting a testimonial game for Worcestershire. I can’t remember who first labelled Hick as a flat track bully, but it stuck with me ever since. I guess for me he’ll be remembered as the player who destroyed county attacks with aplomb but who never quite cut the mustard at test level. The stats below (courtesy of Cricinfo) would seem to bear that out.

With Vaughan very doubtful and his possible replacements woefully out of form and injuried, what money on Hicks 12th recall to the test squad.
