The Surfer is starting some discussion led posts on given subjects, the current one being technology, which is a clear divergence from its ‘best of the web - wrapped in brief editorial’.

Comments are still not featured, so the blogesque nature of The Surfer is really to commence a ‘rolling article’ with multiple contributors. It would have been nice to see them embark upon this in a separate home, dedicated to open discussion, where Joe Public can engage with the writers.
