It was a stunning day for cricket at Eden Park today. The weather was boiling hot and there were just over 20,000 at the game.

Chris Cairns had a reasonable game for his ‘comeback’, he was unlucky not to have picked up more wickets. He was generating some good pace too.

There’s always one…this guy gets a slap on the head for his naked pitch invasion.

Brett Lee takes a breather while the security guards chase the streaker, who was bloody quick for a naked guy.

The streaker had his undies forcibly thrust upon him, courtesy of the burly security dude walking by the sight screen.

The game was nearly over by the time the floodlights were really needed.

The rain covers on the Eden Park outer oval, provided good sunshade.

The biggest cheer of the day came when Brett Lee was sent packing. He took some stick from the terraces but ultimately had the last laugh.

The game was a good old fashioned kicking, dished out to a Fleming and Bondless NZ side, who never once looked like upsetting the Aussies rhythm.

But it was a great day out!
