History against Vaughan
Just realised that history is not our side for the current Pakistan tour.
The last time England won an Ashes series (before 2005) was the series that ended in January of 1987. England won the Ashes 2-1.
In the December of that year, a touring England lost to Pakistan 1-0.

Not only did you guys lose to as at home, but a few months later, when we toured England, you lost that series as well! If I’m not wrong, I read some where, something to this affect:
The last time England won the Ashes, they went on to lose to Pakistan both home and away within the next six months…
I wonder if history will repeat it self.
