5 days to go and blow me I’m excited
In spite of myself I can’t wait for the first Super Series ODI.
Whether out of frustration that the recent headlines have been stolen for largely ancilliary matters or whether post Ashes withdrawal is finally starting to kick in I don’t know.

“Let’s not forget we’re the No.1 ranked [...]

He was included in the first big squad of pretty much everyone who could walk who wasn’t an [...]

Dropping reveals character and organisational strength
Chris Cairns has responded positively to his axing form the NZ one day touring squad to South Africa. The decision to drop him was I believe the right one, and was the eventual consequence of Cairns’s gamble to restrict both his domestic and international cricket to only the limited overs form of the game, [...]

Bracewell signals end for Cairns
Within the last thirty minutes I’ve heard two different versions of John Bracewell’s decision to drop Chris Cairns from the New Zealand ODI squad to tour South Africa next month.
